Vivo Y72 5G: smartphone with 5G and 5000 mAh battery inexpensive


The Chinese company Vivo quietly announced another new smartphone from the Vivo Y series. The novelty was named Vivo Y72 5G. This is a mid-range model based on a processor from MediaTek.

The Vivo Y72 5G is based on MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chipset with an integrated 5G modem. The company has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory expandable using a microSD memory card. The front panel of the smartphone has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD + resolution and a drop-shaped notch at the top for a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. And on the back is a triple main camera consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2MP macro camera. The power button on the side has a fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking.

Autonomous work of Vivo Y72 5G is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. It supports 18W fast charging via USB Type-C port. And everything is controlled by the mobile operating system Android 11 with the Funtouch OS 11.1 shell installed on top.

The start of sales of the Vivo Y72 5G is scheduled for March 31. The issue price is about $ 323.
